Though the breed is not new in the United States, many people are unaware of the specific traits of Pot Belly Pigs. This breed is famous for its affection to humans and intelligence. Many Pot Belly Pigs are used as pets and appear to make good companions on the condition that owners supply them with necessary care and apply efforts to train the pets. Pot Belly Pigs - Diet and HousingPot Belly Pigs weigh no more than 2 pounds at birth. They grow rapidly and may become about 100-150 pounds when mature. Generally, pigs grow until they are four years old. Breed owners are advised to feed their pets special swine rations produced with the animal needs in mind.
